Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. This is a magnific lodge, in the middle of the nature and overlooking a river with waterfalls. Our log cabin was very spacious and comfortable. The food was good and the staff very kind.

Only monkeys, birds, fish, all of which can get noisy. It was so nice for us that we extended one night. We will be happy to come back. Sophia made fresh breakfast and was always responsive. It's very close to Addo Elephant Park and Amakhala Game Reserve. The view from the bedroom is amazing and it was our best accommodation during our Garden Road trip. There is a restaurant in the property so very convenient to eat in the evening. The place is calm, very romantic and we could so zebras inside the property!

Very comfortable, spacious, modern, clean and well equipped cottages. Beautiful gardens with antelopes roaming freely. Great location on the Addo main road and within close proximity to Addo National Park. Very good restaurant and bar at the property.

The room was spacious&clean and had an amazing view to the river. The nature around was beautiful. The whole experience felt really private. We booked a guided tour and a game drive which was also very private. The ranger who ran the activities was simply wonderful. He shared his deep knowledge in flora & fauna, we really enjoyed our time with him. We saw a variety of animals, not only on the guided tours but as well as just walking around property. The value for money is just insanely good. +The food was delicious! Best wishes to Dean & Fay who really cared to make our time at the lodge memorable. Would love to come back. Thank you!

Absolutely lovely private game Lodge near Addo national park. Excellent food and lovely staff. Chalets were beautiful. Great views from the pool. Went for game drive on their property and saw many different animals and was able to feed giraffe.
